Pray, Fast for President Mnangagwa: Prophet Ian Ndlovu Warns Zimbabweans
Bulawayo based Prophet Ian Ndlovu has urged Zimbabweans to fast and pray for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, saying key decisions to be made within four months will shape Zimbabwe's future and future leadership.
Bulawayo — Prominent Zimbabwean Prophet, Ian Ndlovu, has called on all Zimbabweans, regardless of their political affiliation, to embark on a seven-day period of fasting and prayer for President Emmerson Mnangagwa, saying the nation is approaching a critical period that will shape its future for generations.
In a prophetic message, Ndlovu said the Holy Spirit instructed him to deliver the message in plain language rather than in parables to avoid any misunderstanding.
"When I heard this prophetic message, I initially intended to speak in parables, but God said, 'No. If you speak in parables, the message will be misinterpreted. Speak in plain language so that nothing needs to be interpreted'," he said.
Prophet Ndlovu, President Mnangagwa is expected to make major decisions and implement key resolutions within the next four months that will have far-reaching consequences for Zimbabwe, its citizens at home and abroad, and the country's future leadership.
"Pray for our President Mnangagwa so that he hears the voice of God and not the voice of people, because the decisions he is yet to make are going to have a serious impact on everyone.
"They will affect every citizen, those outside the country and even the leadership that will come after him," he said.
Ndlovu appealed to Zimbabweans from across the political divide, including supporters of ZANU-PF, opposition parties and those with no political affiliation, to unite in prayer during the fasting period, which runs from Monday to Sunday.
He also urged citizens to pray specifically for the President's family, saying family members have a significant influence on his decision-making.
While acknowledging President Mnangagwa's advanced age, the Prophet thanked God for preserving his strength and prayed that he would continue to receive wisdom, divine guidance and godly counsel.
Ndlovu warned that without national intercession, certain calamities could not be averted.
He said the President, as Head of State, carries the burden of the entire nation and therefore requires both natural and supernatural support.
The Prophet encouraged participants throughout the seven-day fast to pray that President Mnangagwa clearly hears God's voice as he prepares to make decisions that, according to the prophecy, will determine Zimbabwe's direction for many generations.
"I don't know how you are as a person with free will. You can reject this message. You can accept it. I've done my part," Ndlovu said, adding that he chose obedience to God rather than fear of public criticism.
