Harare — The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is appealing for public assistance to locate five fugitives wanted by Zambian authorities for alleged offences including aggravated robbery, attempted murder, theft and cybercrime.
The five individuals are believed to be in Zimbabwe, prompting the police to work with the Zambia Police Service through the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters to establish their whereabouts and facilitate appropriate legal action.
In a statement dated October 14, 2026, Zimbabwe national police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, urged anyone with information that could help locate the fugitives to report to the nearest police station or contact the relevant police hotlines.
The wanted individuals are Emmanuel “Jay Jay” Banda, Kaizar Peter Zulu, Enock Mwanza, Robert Ng’uni and Susan Chileshe.
Banda is wanted in connection with aggravated robbery, attempted murder and escaping from lawful custody, while Zulu faces allegations of conversion of a motor vehicle, threatening violence and assault.
Mwanza, Ng’uni and Chileshe are wanted in connection with alleged cybercrime offences, including unauthorised access to computer systems, unauthorised interference with computer systems and offences described by police as involving the prohibition of cyber attacks.
Police identified Mwanza’s passport number as ZQ278195, Ng’uni’s as ZN949251 and Chileshe’s as ZN667629.
Commissioner Nyathi said the operation formed part of broader efforts to strengthen regional police cooperation and combat cross-border crime.
“The individuals are believed to be in Zimbabwe,” he said, appealing for information that could assist in establishing their whereabouts and enable appropriate lawful action under applicable legal and police cooperation frameworks.
He said members of the public with information can contact the National Complaints Desk on 0242 703631, send a WhatsApp message to 0712 800 197, or call INTERPOL National Central Bureau in Harare on +263 242 700099.
Commissioner Nyathi cautioned the public against approaching or confronting any of the wanted individuals, urging people to report information through official channels instead.
He said cooperation between law-enforcement agencies was essential in preventing criminals from exploiting national borders to evade justice.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police reiterates its commitment to strengthening cooperation with regional and international law-enforcement partners in preventing and combating transnational organised and serious crime,” Commissioner Nyathi, said.
Police said the cooperation would be pursued while upholding the rule of law and respecting the legal processes of the countries involved.
