Dubai, U.A.E. - The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has officially opened international registration for the 28th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2026).

The event, which has grown into the largest specialised green technology and sustainability exhibition in the Middle East, will run from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organisers say the 2026 summit will place a heightened emphasis on emerging industrial sectors geared toward global decarbonisation, including green hydrogen infrastructure, artificial intelligence integration for grid management, smart cities and sustainable mobility.

The focus aligns with the United Arab Emirates’ broader strategic push to accelerate its transition toward net-zero carbon emissions.

The exhibition serves as a critical business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) transaction hub, allowing global engineering firms, clean-tech developers and institutional investors to secure procurement deals with Middle Eastern state utilities.

The scale of the annual convention reflects the massive capital flowing into Gulf renewable infrastructure.

Organisers report the previous edition attracting more than 3,100 corporate exhibitors and 50,000 international trade visitors, spanning an operational layout of 95,000 square metres that featured 18 national pavilions.

UAE state officials confirmed that international firms and green technology providers can now submit formal exhibition applications through the event's official digital portal.
