Gweru, Zimbabwe - In a heartfelt show of generosity and compassion, Spirit Embassy Gweru marked the birthday of Prophetess Beverly Angel, co-founder and President of Spirit Embassy, by visiting the Midlands Children Hope Center orphanage in Mkoba 10 on Saturday, July 5.
The celebration, organized through the church’s charity wing, the Uebert Angel Foundation, brought joy and festivities to children at the home, aligning closely with the life and values of the woman being honored.
Senior Minister Joseph Simon, leader of Spirit Embassy Gweru, led the outreach event on behalf of the church.
He said the gesture reflects the heart and legacy of The Neviah, Prophetess "Bebe" Angel, known within the church for her philanthropic spirit and dedication to uplifting the underprivileged.
“We came here not just to celebrate a birthday, but to live out what the Prophetess represents, a life of giving, love and compassion.
“This is what she stands for and this is how we chose to honor her,” said Minister Simon.
Prophetess Bebe Angel, born on the fourth of July, widely respected within the Spirit Embassy community, co-founded the international church alongside her husband, Prophet Uebert Angel.
Over the years, she has become a prominent figure in Christian ministry, particularly known for her advocacy for women and children, and her charitable work through the Uebert Angel Foundation.
The Midlands Children Hope Center, which houses and cares for orphans from various parts of the Midlands province, welcomed the outreach with open arms.
The day’s program included birthday celebrations, games, food and gift-giving activities.
One Mrs. Mlauzi, a representative from the orphanage, expressed her appreciation for the visit and activities of the day.
“We are grateful for the celebration we had today, celebrating the Prophetess’s birthday.
“We thank Spirit Embassy Gweru who thought of us today so that we celebrate together, and the children had a good time and were happy," she said.
Adding to the joy of the event, two children from the home were also celebrating their birthdays, one a day prior, and the other on the same day as the Prophetess.
“The exciting part is that the birthday coincided with that of two of our kids.
“It made the day even more special for all of us,” Mrs. Mlauzi said.
